JUMP TO: Santa Rosa / San Francisco
Celebrate the 12th Anniversary of The Lost Church with us on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11th at TLC San Francisco
dance party!
Did you hear?! The Lost Church is 12 YEARS OLD!
We had our very first show in Brett and Elizabeth’s home turned performance parlor and theater on February 11th, 2011.
Since then we’ve become an Arts Nonproft, opened a 2nd theater in Santa Rosa, moved the SF location to North Beach, began co-producing Railroad Square Music Festival and have grown into a venerable force for fun, connection, magic, and an array of performances both intimate and mighty.
On this exact to the day 12th Anniversary of The Lost Church our Co-Founders Brett and Elizabeth Cline along with TLC family members Roger Rocha, Ari Gorman, Erma Kyriakos, and Seth Lael are taking away the chairs and presenting CHURCH OF BOOGIE with Edge City Fever and Space Banquet where we all can fill up on vintage vibes and GET DOWN! Get TIX and party with us.

Friday, February 3rd | Doors at 7:30 Show 8:15-10:30pm – INDIE-FOLK
Songs & Stories w/ King Dream (solo) and Trevor Bahnson
With a soulful voice, roots planted in the golden era of California psychedelia and a wry energy that places him firmly in the 21st century, Jeremy Lyon of King Dream charts a path through timeless themes: disillusionment with oneself, with adulthood, with one’s country — and the discovery, time and again, that somehow there’s still plenty worthy of a love song. Trevor Bahnson makes music that sounds a bit like the desert where he was born: plaintive, powerful, with hints of mischief and mystery; it’s meant to reverberate across wild, open spaces.

Sunday, February 5th | Doors at 7:30pm Show 8:15-10:30pm – FOLK/SINGER-SONGWRITER
Kyra Gordon and Megan Alder (Portland)
Kyra Gordon has belted out Janis Joplin hits in a one-woman show, earned a conservatory degree interpreting jazz standards, and spent several years in the improvisational hip-hop group The Freeze, but it was the long road she traveled winding from Hollywood to New Orleans to a rural North Carolina commune to Paris that fueled her remarkable debut album Soul of a Showgirl. Her music flows from the vicissitudes of her footloose life, glinting with insights she’s gleaned along the way. Megan Alder is a vocal powerhouse performing upbeat swing and Americana music with raw grit and soul.

Hiya!
Last week our two theaters were filled with searing music, dancing DIVAS, erotically charged literature, sweet traditional Filipina harmonies, and another fun month of Live Band Karaoke.
Can the week ahead top THAT?!
Maybe not top, but it’s sure to keep the goodness flowing with the quick witted and always hilarious StandProv!, the chance to get your brain spanked by magician and mentalist Brad Barton, wild stories and good grooves from touring and local songwriters, and poignant and warm songs of love with SongRise Studios and Jasmine Pritchard.
Love,
Michele & The Lost Church
