28th November 2022
JUMP TO: San Francisco / Santa Rosa

Hey…hey…it’s Giving Tuesday!

Can we make this our biggest Giving Tuesday ever?!

Just like you, we’re reading a lot of doom and gloom stories about the performing arts and, yes, the situation is serious, BUT… here at TheLostChurch.Org we are GROWING, we are reaching MORE PEOPLE who desperately need the fun and mental health benefits of live performance, we are meeting NEW ARTISTS who offer so much to the world and tell us how grateful they are to HAVE A HOME at TLC. The spark of new life is strong and we have so many wonderful times together ahead.

This is due to Donors like you.

If you are ever feeling disheartened and discouraged…know that your donation of $5, $15, $25, $100 has a strong and concrete effect. It’s a clear and direct way of bringing good into our community. Thanks for considering a donation on Giving Tuesday and staying on this very rewarding road with us.

Thank you!

Marisa Anderson (Thrill Jockey Records) and Sylvie Simmons

Friday, December 2nd at TLC San Francisco

The New Yorker calls Anderson one of the most distinctive guitar players of her generation, while NPR refers to her as among ‘this era’s most powerful players.’

“There’s an unspoken rule among rock critics: don’t release your own music”, wrote the Guardian newspaper’s critic. “Simmons shatters that rule to gripping effect with one of the most beautiful albums of the year.” In 2020 Sylvie followed it with a second album, Blue on Blue, as haunting and as well-received as her first. Like the Popmatters review said: “Breathtaking.”
