The Mommyheads and B3PO (with members of Royal Jelly Jive)
A leading light in the mid-1990s indie rock scene, Relix proclaimed The Mommyheads “the Godfathers of Baroque Prog Pop.” B3PO is an interstellar organ trio featuring Jesse Lemme Adams (Royal Jelly Jive), Sean Carscadden & Mikey Cannon (Sean Carscadden Trio & Royal Jelly Jive) bringing soul, gospel, rock, hip-hop with no genre off limits.

“Although the Mommyheads’ lyrical, timeless, retro-now sound draws from across the eras of rock, the legacy of the ’90s post-punk takeover looms large in the feel of the band. Their weird mix of musical styles is almost normal to the ear now, enriched by the alternative rock legacy of noise fused with melody.
The Mommyheads’ new album, Genius Killer, is a tight, self-assured affair that sounds all the more youthful for its maturity.” — Michael Giotis, The Bohemian.

Quiet Time and Sebastian St. James
Audio Angel and Dan Brennan of Quiet Time employ a palette of vocal harmonies accompanied by guitar, mandolin, and clarinet. They perform original compositions and familiar favorites inspired by their shared love of electronic music, alternative rock, show tunes, and cat videos. People’s Choice Best Performer in Sonoma County, Sebastian St. James, has a continued pursuit to share messages of love and longing mixed with an edge that stems from part vintage – part modern approach to writing and production there’s no telling, but the best is yet to come for this young writer.

“Breed or Bust” Written & Performed by Joyful Raven + David Starlight*
NOTE : This show is recommended for ages 18 and over.
Masks are required by request of the performers.
Blending standup and storytelling, award winning solo show artist Joyful Raven recounts her difficult reproductive “choices” and contends with her primal baby making instincts. Should she surrender to the role of weird aunty OR start a GoFundMe to freeze her geriatric eggs? Come for the laughs and stay for the sex education. The show is fresh off an award winning run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles where it received a Producers Encore Award and was nominated for Best Comedy out of a sea of 200 + shows.
David Starlight*‘s latest release, Raw Songbursts Volume I, is an exercise in the minimalist embellishment of raw song DNA that features the percussion of handclaps and sticks, multi-layered voices and harmonies, and a range of soundscapes that moves from whimsical and celebratory to haunting and apocalyptic. *

Zoe FitzGerald Carter & Adrienne Shamszad
Zoe FitzGerald Carter is known for her deep honey vocals with songs ranging from folk to funk with elements of jazz and latin. “A profound depth of feeling is conveyed through Zoe’s lyrical and literary songwriting. She creates vignettes set to music, hinting at deeper stories not completely revealed as all good short stories do.” Adrienne Shamszad is an Oakland, California native of Iranian and European heritage who has traveled extensively, studying and bringing her music throughout the U.S., India, and other parts of Asia. Her impressive musical range extends from the sacred to the profane, the mystical to the earthy, the lofty to the down-low, and she is equally at home with acoustic or electric, improvisation, jazz, rock and roll, rhythm and blues and Persian classics.

Lost Church Free Radio ends on October 31st
We’re grateful to all of you who listened to, contributed to, and supported our fledgling radio station. It was a long time dream of ours and we hope to bring it back some day.
The sad reality is that we have run out of funding for it.
Re-opening our San Francisco Theater and growing our Santa Rosa Theater is very costly and we need to focus all of our efforts on keeping these stages alive and making them thrive for the artists, our community, and all of us who love and rely on them.
We are up for the challenge and know that you’re right there with us. Thanks for all of your donations, for attending shows, and for spreading the good word about The Lost Church.
It’s farewell for now to Lost Church Free Radio, but together we have a long road ahead for live performance at our theaters.
