Summer On The Square Returns to Santa Rosa

June & July 2023

Summer on the Square in Santa Rosa 2023

The Lost Church is excited to share that we have co-produced this year’s Summer on the Square Series.

Not only that, but we’re running the bar!

This means that when you join us at one of these fun summertime concerts or movies you not only get to say hello to the TLC Staffer who is pouring your drink, but every purchase you make goes directly to support our theater and nonprofit!

Since the concerts end at 8pm you can make an evening of it and come to our Downtown Santa Rosa Theater to keep having fun and feeding your senses afterward.

Music on the Square will bring live music and dancing to Downtown Courthouse Square on seven Fridays throughout the summer. The Lost Church, a nonprofit arts organization with a Downtown performance space, is helping coordinate the scheduling of local performers who bring a diversity of styles.

Concerts begin 6pm, and the lineup includes:

  • June 16: Salsa Rosa Orquesta
  • June 23: School of Rock House Band
  • June 30: The Sorentinos and The THUGZ (KRSH Backyard Concert on the Road)
  • July 7: Dustin Saylor & Band and opener Quiet Time
  • July 14: Sol Horizon and opener Simoné Mosely
  • July 21: The Sonoma County Super Jam featuring The Pulsators and Special Guests (KRSH Backyard Concert on the Road)
  • July 28: La Gente SF

Beer and wine from local producers will be for sale on-site. This year, media partner Wine Country Radio and the KRSH will be partnering by taking over two of the concert nights (June 30, July 21) with their Backyard Concerts on the road.

Movies on the Square are back this year and better than ever. Four Monday night screenings on a massive LED screen will light up Courthouse Square in Downtown Santa Rosa. Movie screenings begin at 6:00pm, and the lineup includes:

  • July 10: Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)
  • July 17: Sonic the Hedgehog (1/2020)
  • July 24: Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)
  • July 31: Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)

Prepackaged movie snacks and beer and wine from local producers will be for sale on-site. Movie-goers are encouraged to order take-out from a Downtown restaurant to enjoy during the movies.
