Jam Jar Presents: Marty O’Reilly with Jerome Porter

TICKETS

Jam Jar is a San Francisco-based music collective that hosts shows and open mics around the Bay Area, curating thoughtful and diverse experiences. Marty O’Reilly’s music feels familiar, but at the same time unchartered, from raw gospel blues to cinematic epics, from heavy driving grooves to delicately arranged folk songs. His lyrics are stark yet lush over gritty electrified guitar, melding beautifully into genre-defying music within the vast definitions of Americana, what his followers call “magic”.  Jerome Porter plays honest songs that have traveled through various genres, gradually and circuitously finding their way towards sounds and words that feel more true to his soul.
